Successful completion of this is required before applying for a Canadian Firearms Licence (PAL). It is for anyone wanting to possess or acquire non-restricted firearms (typical shotguns and rifles used for hunting and sport shooting) After completing the in-class instruction, a written and practical test must be passed. Tests are completed on the same day. Please note: the course is completed in one, very long, day. Start time is 7:30am. Exams often finish well into the evening.
